The Thursday Night Group will meet 

Thursday, Jan 12 at 7:00 PM at the DARA Clubhouse.

This week :    

SPECIAL Invite:

Steve Schoemann brought and invitation (to last Thursdays meeting ) to an
event that benefits a charity.

the text of the invite is as follows....

"You are cordially invited to join Steve and Sandy Schoemann and the friends
at the Englewood Waffle House for Hadassah's 3rd annual Spirit Day
Fundraiser on Thursday, January 12, 2017, any time between 2pm and 9pm, say
that you are a friend of Hadassah, and have a meal.  Part (25%) of your bill
will be returned to Hadassah for its fundraiser.  Once we have had a count
of 30 people, we begin receiving the refund, so we need lots of friends.
The Englewood Waffle house is across the street from Meijer at the traffic
light and a block south of I-70 on route 48 (N. Main St.).  We sincerely
thank you for helping us participate in this very easy fund raiser.
Hadassah is an organization which raises money for hospitals, technical
schools and medical research in Israel as well as supporting women's and
men's health issues in the USA."

So would anyone want to meet for dinner before the meeting??

          Steve (KB8STB) is thinking about making a presentation on
Batteries, any interest??


          Tom Holmes, N8ZM, has things:

                   working on Pat Coffey's Kenwood TS-520S.

                   and continue talking about plans to take the Hamvention
display out to the Fairgrounds to determine what we need to modify. This
will take some planning as there are many people and technical things to
coordinate before we can go, as well as holding out for a suitably nice day.
We talked some last week but more concrete plans need to be made.
