Hello from the Findlay Radio Club, Findlay, Ohio. The FRC has been holding an
annual Hamfest for the past 73 years on the Sunday after Labor Day each year. Our
74th annual Hamfest is scheduled for September 11th this year. The Hamfest will be
held at the Hancock County fairgrounds, 1700 E. Sandusky, Findlay, Ohio. The gates
will open for set up at 6:30 AM to allow those who have tables and/or will be setting
up in the flea market area to get set up. The public is welcome to come in and have
some coffee and breakfast starting at 6:30. The buildings will open to the public at
8:00 AM.


We again expect to have approximately 1500 attendees and hope that you will be one
of them. We will be re-establishing the hourly prize drawings this year. The hourly
drawings will include three Yaesu model FT-60 hand held radios, and valuable door prizes. In addition to
the hourly prizes, we will be giving away three larger prizes – One Yaesu FT-991 HF radio, One Yaesu model FTM-100R dual band mobile radio and one Yaesu FTM-3200R single band mobile radio at the end of the hamfest. Each ticket has a stub that will enter you in these drawings. Buy more tickets to increase your odds of winning.


We still have some tables available for inside sales at $20 each (second and beyond
are $15 each) and unlimited Flea Market spots available for $5 each; all are available
on a first come/first served basis. The tickets are $7 each and parking is free.
Camping, is available for $15/night. Some campsites have water and electricity

This is the first year that we have sent out a broad email to the hams in the area that
have attended in the past. We hope that this is a welcomed reminder to come to our
event and you will join us again this year…
