All,

 

For the next 24 hours please do not bring any animals to B-Road, even if it is a service animal.  It is the time of year where the ants start getting fired up and I sprayed inside and out tonight.  Also putting out ant baits around the building.  Within 24 hours the spray should not be a hazard.  The ant baits are small clear plastic containers with an orange and blue label on them.  It contains a clear liquid that attracts the ants and they die in 2 ways, either get inside and can't get out or they do get out and take enough of it back to their happy home to kill some of the others.  It is not something you want your 4 legged friends to get in, but if washed off with soap and water is not harmful to humans.

 

Also, for the Thursday Night Group, this week please try not to park right in front of the barn.  The side if fine, but I will be doing some work after dark in front of the barn.  The wood boring bees are back for their annual visit.  I sprayed the crap out of them tonight and will make a follow up spray tomorrow and after that dries start filling holes to minimize their return rate.
