[DARARepeater] Thursday Night Group

The Thursday Night Group will meet Thursday, January 29th at 7:00 PM.

 

George WD8NHI will be connecting two Motorola radios to a controller to help
build a repeater that will be installed in Germantown.

---AND---

Steve KB8STB would like to know if anyone would be interested in an "ARDUINO
for Absolute Beginners Class"?  I envision a series of Thursday nights where
participants would show up with their laptops or some form of computer and
an Arduino  board.  This will start with a brief intro to microcontrollers
and then quickly move on to installing the free Arduino software and writing
and uploading programs to it.

You will need to obtain an Arduino (or one of the many clones available) , a
breadboard, some wire, LEDs, switches, potentiometers, and whatever flavor
of sensor you would like to play with. I will make a brief presentation this
Thursday to show what I recommend you obtain and where you can get it.  If
you are interested in participating in such a class PLEASE email me direct
