To all Amateur that are reading this. 

PLEASE, step up and volunteer to be an escort at Channel 16 Great TV Auction. Fred Stone - W8LLY heads up the escort service each year. The auction starts tomorrow evening, Monday, April 21 and runs thru Saturday evening April 26.

> Most of you are members of organizations for which Greater Dayton Public Television is providing space at the Channel 16 Tower Site for your organization’s repeater(s). 

There will be free food for you. All you have to do is, bring your HT, we will be using 146.5800 simplex. You will escort (walk along with) those that get off their shift of answering phone to their cars in the parking garage. During the walk you will have to go up a couple flight of stairs to get to the garage level where they parked their cars. You usually only have to escort a couple times during your shift.

The ThinkTV TeleCenter is located on the east side of South Jefferson Street just south of Fourth Street.  You can park on the 1st level of the parking garage near the northwest stairwell, or near the elevator at Fifth and Jefferson.  Bring your parking ticket to the Reception Desk for validation.  There also may be street level parking around the building (it’s free after 6:00 PM).
