Do to work being done at "B" Road, we will "NOT" be meeting this Thursday, May 2.

DARA Members:

I was advised by the general contractor today that work relating to the pouring of concrete will commence Tuesday the 30th of April.  That entails the cutting and removal of some concrete pads, sidewalk and existing patio pad, the building and setting of forms, then the pouring of the concrete.
This is not a one day affair.  Length of time is unknown given the uncertainty of the weather, but access to the clubhouse will be VERY limited.  It may be that only one door will be used for access and that door has not been determined at this time.  The work going on that day will dictate the need.
So that may mean the facility will not be available for a week or more, if not longer.
At this time I strongly recommend that everyone stay away from the facility for this coming week.
The contractor must have the concrete work completed prior to getting final inspection by Montgomery County and receiving occupancy certification.
Will try to keep you advised of changes as they occur. 
On a good note, the rugs started to be laid in today.  The lounge/common room and new hallway are complete and work started on one of the new meeting/class rooms.  Tuesday, they will complete the meeting rooms and the new board/conference room.
Stay tuned.  Hopefully it won’t be much longer.  Plans are to be complete by Hamvention®.
