It is with great sadness that we would like to let family and friends of Denice know that she passed away peacefully this morning in her beloved home with Lisa and I by her side. She was strong until the end as in her true to form. She was a true pioneer. She is free!

I loved Denice Stoops so much. I'll always remember the way her bracelets jangled as she sent with her mighty Vibroplex Original key. RIP, dear Morse Musician.

She was the first and only female radiotelegraph operator ever hired by RCA.
