The 2025 Flight of the Bumblebees (FOBB) is going to be a Really Great QRP CW Event.   Put July 27th on your calendar so you do not miss it.

As this time, we already have 143 Bumblebees signed up.  The 143 Bumblebees are in 42 SPCs - practically every state in the US has one or more Bumblebees.  Some who will only travel as far as out into their yards to enjoy operating their portable station outdoors. But many more who will be traveling much further to get to some enjoyable outdoor site that they have chosen.  And I noticed that many Bumblebees will be heading for the higher elevations.

There are several reports that are now available at https://ars-qrp.com/FOBB/FOBB.html   You can see how many Bumblebees will be in each SPC.  You can see where are all of the Bumblebees in your SPC will be operating from.  And you can see the entire Bumblebee Swarm sorted by SPC, or by BB Number.  If you have forgotten your BB Number, you can retrieve it there.

The 2025 FOBB is not until Sunday July 27th If you have not yet signed up to get outside and operate as a Bumblebee, there is still plenty of time for you to join in on the fun.  Sign up for your Bumblebee Number at https://ars-qrp.com.  Then go to the FOBB page.

If you are going to be looking for all of the Bumblebees from inside, you do not need to have a Bumblebee Number.  There will be a separate results listing for the home stations that are operating from indoors.   See all of the times, frequencies, exchanges, comments, and rules at https://ars-qrp.com/FOBB/FOBB.html

I will be using 10-15-20-40-80 Meters. My batteries are charged.  I expect to be on for the entire four hours.  I’m looking forward to working as many of you as I can during the FOBB event.

And don’t forget the 2025 Skeeter Hunt on August 17th.  Another great portable QRP CW outdoor event.  Get your Skeeter Number now.  See https://w2lj.blogspot.com/p/njqrp-skeeter-hunt.html
