There are indeed QRQ mobile operators, one of the operators who sponsored me for Chicken-Fat-Operators-Club, Joe, WB1GLC, used to drive around sending at 50 WPM and refused to sponsor me unless I could match his speed.

I've been doing mobile cw for years. My rig is a ts50s mounted on a speaker pedestal, and my vehicle is a Roadtrek RV, based on a Chevy 3500 Express chassis. My paddle is a bencher that is at the end of the right arm rest. Unless you are left-handed, you would find the position relaxed and not a compromise to your driving. My boast is that I can parallel park at 50 wpm.  i can provide pix of the position if you wish. I am not alone, there are several /cw folks, several of whom I qso on the low end of 40 on a daily basis.

Subject: [CW] Mobile "finger" key

ZCZC

I would like to attempt mobile CW (without crashing my truck). I'm looking for a key that could be worn like a ring on my index finger, and use my thumb for working the key.

Any suggestions?
