ONE FAMOUS HAM MISSING WAS ANDY DEVINE THE ACTOR.  I DO NOT RECALL HIS CALLSIGN BUT EONS AGO WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL IN RURAL LOUISIANA, I WORKED A MOBILE STATION ON 75 METER SSB.  IT WAS ANDY'S VERY UNIQUE GRAVELY VOICE.

ANOTHER SUMMER DAY ON 10 METER SSB I WORKED SOME WB6 IN CALIFORNIA WHO WAS AN ACTOR ON SOME SOAP OPERA.  JUST ANOTHER HAM RAG CHEW.

BARRY GOLDWATER SENATOR AND PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE IN 1964 WAS K7UGA AND HAD A K3(UIG?) CALL.  I WORKED HIM SEVERAL TIMES.

THERE ARE MORE IF ANYONE CAN REMEMBER THEM.

The only one on this list I ever met was Roy Neal, of NBC. Roy was a
top news man and covered NASA among other things. I had a good friend at
NBC news and met Roy though him.
