One (or Two) Small Suggestions for Learning  Radio Morse 

1. Learn Morse characters as sound patterns. 

2. Practice Morse code with an "up and down" Morse key to appreciate and learn the percussive (drumming) nature of Morse code. 

I value this two suggestions very highly.

Fifty years ago, I didn't approve how essential these two suggestions were to learning Morse code. 

Anyone else have any suggestions?
