Hi,

I can change between A & B. I've never tried Ultimatic, but I'll check it out.  I have been on the air since 1961, but I was unaware of Ultimatic when it was first available.

When I have done an A -B switch, I just need to warm up the mode that I'll be using for 10 to 15 minutes, before going on the air. I do prefer Mode A.

Is there anyone here who has learned, or attempted to learn, 2 or more keyer modes, e.g. both Ultimatic and iambic A, or both iambic A and B, etc.? Thus far, I've only read about people who've learned one keyer mode.

Ultimatic mode was invented around 1955. Iambimatic mode wasn't invented until 1967. Surely there are operators around who switched from the former to the latter?
