The Stradivarius model has been discontinued so there is no point playing the what if game unless you happen upon a used model. To answer your question though, The Strad employed torsion springs rather than pivot axle and ball bearings. It like the Sculpture used magnets for return force. The Strad definitely was not designed for a heavy handed operator who tended to slap the key like a bug. Bruna Begali, can you clarify this? Is the 70th Anniversary Special Edition a Stradivarius key with torsion springs, or does it have a pivot axle and ball bearings? Jim Hoge is saying it doesn't have torsion springs. I think we should know.
