I only have a thin washer in front which is the reason that I cannot use the key as I cannot tighten up on the screw on the dash contact and the dash contact swivels around on me.

Hi David,

Do you not have the top insulating washer from the original?

Steve,

Instead of the 1/2 inch long shoulder washer, we will need twice the number of 1/4 inch shoulder washers, one for the top and one for the bottom. That part number is 91145A148.

Both the top requires insulation from the base and the bottom also.

I needed some screws and nuts for FT-243 rebuilding (I operate AF4K Crystals) so I placed an order with McMaster-Carr and included a pack of the 91145A151 insulating shoulder washers that have been determined to be used on some bugs.  I'll be glad to send some to anyone who needs them.

They are supposed to arrive tomorrow (I live within their Spee-Dee delivery area) so let me know if you want some.  I'm about to do some intense traveling so I will turn them around as quickly as I can before I leave.

They are of course very light but aren't flat so I will have to put them in a padded envelope.  If you want to reimburse me for shipping it would be about $4.00 (with my discount) to my PayPal account sbjohnston@aol.com

Reimbursement is not required for this offer, but people often want to help on these deals so I provide the info.
