Thanks Walter! It was considerably ditier when I got it, but it hadn't been beaten up too badly. I did have to fabricate the paddle itself as what was on there when I got it was a poor substitute hung on the stub of the shaft. . Still , it hadn't been hacked on and nothing in the mechanical section was too buggered up.

It would be interesting to know what patents they had to license from the RCA patent pool.

The mechanical portion of the thing is interesting. The whole  works seems to be mounted in a black resin cast housing which is then machined and fitted with the paddle arm and the adjustment screws for travel and centering.   While the spacing of the arms is a bit wide for my tastes, the adjustment screws don't want to  budge.  I've broken enough things in a similar state to leave well enough alone and use it as is, rather than getting out the TorqueMaster screwdriver.

The relay ticking away with the CW is kind of soothing!
