I just downloaded the Kindle version of this book.  Read the Prelude about the PBY crash and the account of how the radio operator used his Flameproof key to send the SOS out.  Saw the picture of that exact key at the end of the Prelude.   I have a Flameproof key just like that one.

I am hooked.  Time to settle in with this book.  Thanks for the recommendation.
