I worked Ellen many times over the years. She was OTA  remotely late at night into the wee hours . I nick named her Queen Ellen for her service at the ARRL over many years. I will miss her and her distinctive bug fist. She was sharp to the end. She had to witness all of those losses. She was proud of her Father especially his work on LOTW.

With much sadness, we announce that Ellen White W1YL Is SK.
It was reported that she passed quietly in her sleep today.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob White W1CW in 2003, and her son Jim White K4OJ  in 2004.  The entire White family was in service through the ARRL for many years and various radio clubs.
She will be missed.
