I have been totally blind from birth so web pages with pictures on them
are useless for me since the screen readers don't speak pictures.
If I can learn to build a foxhole radio to the point that it works I am in
contact with several people who have Africa as their native continent and
I intend to share the know-how with them so they can share that when they
return to their countries for the times when families and friends for
whatever reason can't afford to buy new batteries.  In that way they may
be able to listen to a different type of radio.  Do any in this list know
how to build one of these that can get more than a single frequency since
I don't know broadcasting ranges in Africa and would be willing to share
your information?
