You might remember me from Sideswiper restoration days when Donny used yours to expertly fabricate parts for mine.

 

Anyway, apropos of nothing really, I enjoyed your exchange with Col on his Lightning bug.  A lot of what you said pertained to my 1943 Vibro Original Deluxe so that gave me a reason to get it down off the display shelf and have a closer look at it.  I have att three pix that should give you a good idea of what I got when I bought it back in 2003.  It was so pristine that I thought it was a fake (re)paint job so I queried Randy Cole about the paint, crackle finish, chrome etc and he confirmed all was authentic and that he considered my acquisition a real nice find. It also has the ground braid.
