When RCA San Francisco Radio/KPH was a revenue stream for RCA GLOBCOM, the
medium wave transmitter BL-10 (500 or 426 kHz) was 40 kW just one band.

KPH ran 10 kW on the HF bands each
band had 3 or 4 transmitters.

2, 4, 6, 8, 12 16 and 22 MHz.
2 MHz was low power and no watch was on 2 MHz, but the other six bands were
in heavy use.

40 kW on 425/500 kHz
6 kW for 4 MHz
8 KW for 6 MHz
40 kW for 8 MHz
40 kW for 12 MHz
40 kW for 16 MHz
40 kW for 22 MHz

214 KW total OUTPUT power into KPH rhombic and long-wire antennas directed
toward the Pacific Ocean.

So maybe you should up your estimate and sit in the KPH seat and send out
the NORTH PACIFIC OCEAN WX for us.

Medium Wave transmitter BL-10 at Bolinas, California with my friend, TR
Reese, K6CG. 40 kW of modulated CW on the Medium Wave band.
