In "Radio Antenna Engineering" by Edmund A. LaPort he shows a 12"
coaxial line at a transmitting site for WJZ built for 500KW broadcast
service. Nitrogen filled. The super power was never approved and WJZ
(now WABC) moved to another site after a time. Of course, 500KW carrier
means 2 megawatt peak for AM.
