     M-G-M's idea of Ham radio. Pete Smith Specialties were a quite 
popular series of short subjects, mostly humorous. Smith was actually an 
executive with M-G-M, in the publicity department, I think.
     I am sure there were hams at M-G-M who were a bit unhappy with this 
but it does show ham radio being used for rescue and public service.
