[CW] MacKay 3010C Data Sheet

    It is one of a handful of receivers built about the same time 
mainly for maritime communications. Both RCA and Marconi made 
somewhat similar receivers. Not often seen in ham shacks. I got 
curious about the MacKay receiver and looked up whatever I could 
find about it. One blog has a fellow saying it has too much 
backlash but the tuning mechanism is direct acting and can't have 
backlash, another says it has a bad reputation for IMD, but I 
found a blog where its said the bridge type first mixer can 
suffers from drifted diodes which can be replaced. Its like 
someone finding a junked Ferrari and finding fault with it.
    I would love to have one (MacKay receiver) but never will.
