[CW] KFS transmissions

    KLC probably. KLC always came booming in to Los Angeles, much 
stronger than the RCA station at Port Arthur WPA.  The old 
records show that prior to WW-2 MacKay (ITT) had another call, 
WGV in Galveston. I don't know the story behind this other than 
coast stations were taken over by the government during the war 
and some of the old calls were discontinued later. Possible David 
Ring knows.
    If you got to visit the station I envy you.
