[CW] Thoughts on receiving CW

    The block lettering with arrows is very similar to the old 
Army ARRL method. What I do is use small printed letters. This is 
much like cursive writing but does not connect the letters. 
Almost as fast as long hand.
    BTW, I am not sure I buy the criticism of long hand but I 
don't take code groups so maybe its correct. I suspect it also 
has to do with the method of handwriting you learned.
