WELL I MUST AGREE WITH ALL THE COMMENTS ABOVE.
I WONDER WHEN THE CONTESTS WILL STOP CONSUMING THE OLD BANDS? CWT
DESTROYED MOST OF WEDNESDAY, SST IS TAKING A BITE ON SUNDAY EVENING AND
FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THE NEW AWT IS TAKING EARLY MORNING WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE
CWT.
NOW MST WILL TAKE A BIG BITE OUT OF MONDAYS. IT IS NO FUN TO BE IN A GOOD
RAGCHEW AND GET CLOBBERED AND RUN OFF THE BAND WHEN ONE OF THESE EVENTS
SUDDENLY STARTS UP WHEN YOU FORGET ABOUT THEM. THE TREND SEEMS TO BE A
CONTEST EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY SOMEDAY IN THE FUTURE.
MY PERSONAL SOLUTION IS TO USE 80M FOR LOCAL QSOS BECAUSE NO HIGHER BANDS
WILL WORK WHEN NO CONTEST ALLOWS ORDINARY OPERATIONS. OTHER TIMES I AM
WARC BAND ONLY WEEKENDS AND WEDNESDAYS. I DONT USE 40/20/15 IF I CAN AVOID
THEM. I WISH CONTESTS WERE LIMITED TO THOSE THREE BANDS. ANOTHER WISH IS
CONTESTS WOULD BE A SINGLE BAND PER WEEKEND BUT THAT DREAM WAS SHATTERED
YEARS AGO.
