Historic last message from Captain John S. Tucker, Master United States to
his countrpart on RMS Queen Mary/GBTT on their final Eastbound
Transatlantic Crossing on September 22, 1967 on medium frequency 468/468
GBTT/KJEH.
The above message was sent by Radio Officer Roy Cattell
witnessed by Senior First Radio Officer Paul MacCarthy
and transmitted on 468kHz.
A copy of RCA's Radiomarine magazine July 1952 featuring an article about
SS UNITED STATES/KCEJ mentioning R/O Arthur D. Anderson.
You can hear a recording of that very message here, if your Morse isn't
quite up to commercial standards, be sure to turn on "Closed Captioning" as
I have supplied a "Morse Code Libretto" or translation.
