    Fascinating history. I am under the impression that WCC was 
originally MCC and before that just CC. I think it is much older 
than  1921. From what I have read the station was originally used 
for point to point transatlantic transmission. Perhaps 1921 is 
the date it became a maritime station. RCA was founded in 1919 
but I am not sure exactly when they took over American Marconi 
but it was soon after.
