Thank you for writing about a person who deserves to be remembered. In today's environment many seem more focused on one's words than deeds. 

I did not have the honor of meeting or working Stew, but after reading your kind words I have come to better know the man. I can see in in those words, as well, the many sailors and merchantmen whom I have served with and have known and consider such an honor for me. Men who have served and died and who lived the essence of what has made America the great country that it is.
