I too retired from broadcasting after fifty years of working the industry.
What I found is that headphones are personal. Everyone has their own
opinion.

You are getting a lot of good suggestions here. But I would suggest you
take that list to your area Best Buy or other audio store and try some of
them on and test them out.

You can’t go wrong with any that have been suggested but you won’t know
what you like best until you feel and hear through them.
