I'm not a bug operator. I've seen some discussion of military bugs which mention adjustment and machining problems. Pietro Begali has produced a bug with an entirely new design: <http://i2rtf.com/intrepid.html>. Pietro has a reputation for precision machining. In this case, he has designed a unique instrument which operates in the standard bug way, but the orientation of the moving parts is opposite, making for a more compact key with most control governed by magnets rather than springs.
