[CW] A Call to Arms

    Very well written, thank you.
    It seems to me that the FCC has been trying to institute fees 
for amateurs for years. While it undoubtedly costs something for 
them to administer the licensing hams have take over most of the 
work. Some clubs do charge a  fee for administering tests but its 
small compared to what the FCC wants. I think this is one of 
those bad ideas that has become a zombie, i.e. lives forever no 
matter how bad it is.
