[CW] GHD keys

Of course I'm joining in the chorus of affection for SK Marshall Emm. He was a standout. I never got to meet him in person.

I noticed years ago upon receiving a package from Morse Express, that it smelled of tobacco. As a former 20-year pipe smoker, I understand completely. Does anybody know whether or not Marshall ever quit smoking before his last day? I've lost two friends to tobacco who never made that move.

Subject: [CW] GHD keys

Hello to all.
I have been absent from the reflector for a few years now. Not that anyone would have missed me as I was a rare contributor, but rather more interested in learning more about each others stories of CW lore.

With the passing of Marshall Emm N1FN, Morse Express is no more. I knew him only from the few occasions I spoke with him directly upon the consideration of a particular key or OHR kit. He was always very patient and accommodating to a fault, a real gentleman. I once called regarding a rare GHD bug and at the time he informed me the last one had been sold. A few weeks later, he called to inform me that he had found one new in the box while searching through his inventory. Now that’s customer service.

My question. Was the baton passed to another retailer here in the US to handle the sale of GHD keys? I have been to GHD website and saw some inference to that, but unknown whom, if anyone is actually retailing these anymore. The key I am looking to purchase is the GHD GT501MIL. Any information most appreciated.
