Many CW operators, well, at least some, have a need or fascination of
hooking up:
1. Straight Key (Vertical Key)
2. Sideswiper (Horizontal or side to side key)
3. Semi-Automatic key (Key with vibrating pendulum which produces dots)
4. The Key Line Output of an external Electronic keyer.
The task usually involved "Y" connectors going into "Y" connectors, or a
terminal block where keys were individually connected with spade lugs or
rings and one output connector went to the transceiver.
It was never as tidy as one hoped for and was often difficult to change
keys.
Until now.

term) which has five mini (3.5mm) phone jacks, and one mini (3.5mm) phone
plug output. It's 3 wire but this is even better because some modern
transceivers require isolated ground.

Those with older rigs needing a two wire 1/4 inch phone plug will have to
buy (or make) an adapter.
