One naked polished brass, sleeve bearings, one painted both with covers.

On passenger liners the Chief Radio Officer sometimes assigned one of the
assistant Radio Officers the task of removing the paint on the older
Marconi 365, 365A, 365B, 365C, 365D series keys and getting them down to
bare brass and mirror polishing them. Such a key, complete with the often
missing ashtray, oops, I mean cover is the first key offered. This 365B key
features sleeve bearings.

The second is one of Dave Johnson's assets, all nicely painted, complete
with cover also and in Texas. He says it's a 365A but if it's labeled as
such, the label has either been swapped, the several switches which the
365A featured were either unusually never there or were skillfully removed.
The switches were of no use to post-1930 radio stations on ships as there
were no elaborate switching needs as in the days of Spark and Arc.
Switching out the tuner (receiver) or isolating the crystal or magnetic
detector was no longer needed. So this key appears to be functionally a
MIMCo 365B with roller bearings. Pay attention to the rubber feet, see
something interesting?

Two keys, one naked brass, polished, with sleeve bearings, the second still
with paint, but with something I've never seen, featuring original rubber
feet with suction cups so the key didn't slide off the operating desk.

These keys are fairly rare these days and are exceptional quality keys,
they are only outshined by the earlier Marconi
A-300 and PS-213 on the middle 1920s which are arguably the finest straight
keys ever manufactured.

I bought a PS-213 from the above mentioned Dave Johnson, and I received an
accurately described, fairly priced key in excellent condition. I would buy
eagerly from him again but auctions get out of hand, but I always received
a fair price but never a "steal."

I have no financial interest in the above auctions, except that they are
worthy of your consideration.
