[CW] High Speed Chinese Morse

Joe,

I'm sure you mean "that's not much weight." That's the point, and it's not about the weight of the paper,
it's about the smallest weight possible activating the key.

The Chinese have this K4 key and I never understood how what I assumed was a "manufacturing defect" of this
tension spring putting out so much tension. Then I figured out that it was designed to put out a huge amount
of spring tension. In fact when I adjusted my key for the "weight of an angel" on the knob, I actually had to
add MORE tension!

Don't get lost on this, Chinese use of hand keys is unlike anything else, they use a USA bent lever, but
they send with the arm off the desktop.

They spend with enormous tension on the lever and micro spacing of the contact so that the tinyest weight
closes the key.

I hope that simplifies my description of something virtually unknown in the Western World!
