It's amazing how much info you can find out by asking a question and I REALLY appreciate all the responses. Fore and aft is certainly the issue and as stated below, no adjustment. I guess one could slightly enlarge the hole in the bottom of the U shaped damper bracket or even slightly enlarge the hole in the base. Either one will provide a small amount of adjustment but I generally don't like to modify stuff from the original. As I have stated before, the bug works fine but looks a tad odd. One more thing I want to do is to disassemble the Champion and Lightning I have to do a precise measurement of the shaft lengths. Just curious.

I think the OP meant fore and aft. There is no adjustment for this......
