*XMS multi-stations CHRISTMAS operation  26 TO 29 december 2019*

The Israel Amateur Radio Club (I.A.R.C) is pleased to announce the
2019/2020 XMAS activity

The   program includes  numerous sites with major significant  to
Christianity -well known  to  every Christian and based by the language and
citation from  the holly books  , Christian tradition , beliefs and
heritage,  as well documented  archeology and other researches.

      This is the 4th year of the Program and the activity will be
commenced during Christmas 26 to 29 january 2019  by 5 special event multi
operators stations. The current sub- program includes sites from various
sectors of the program including kfar nachum, Caesarea, jerusalem , latrun,
and stela maris - Christian sites .

Eligibility for an award in this specific operation is working 2 QSO`s with
two different stations (call signs) out of the 5 active XMAS stations.

Visitors arrive at Latrun Monastery not only for peaceful contemplation and
a peep into the church, but also the chance to buy olive oil and wine made
by its monks. French Trappist monks founded the site in 1890 and set about
cultivating the land. They left during WWI but returned in 1926 to build
the sandstone monastery complex that stands today, its elegant archways,
cathedral-style windows
