Very nice straight key work there!

I'll point out that his technique is what I call "Modified American." The
hand and forearm are in the air, not on the table. The location of the key
on the table becomes unimportant because only the elbow is supported, by
the arm of the chair. That's very, very, similar to my own technique and I
highly recommend it.

The angle of his wrist is nearly level on the roll axis - mine is canted
about 30  degrees; if I try to use it level I develop "glass arm" symptoms
within minutes. The "best" angle is an individual thing.

I also used to copy NSS from my home in Trenton as a kid. I'd practice
sending strings of Vs and the NSS ID on my CPO, along with the station. To
this day, I send strings of Vs for a warm up.
