Hello Bill and thanks,
A fellow on the Debian Accessibility mailing list recently asked me if
there was a CW tutor that ran on command line.
I told him about aldo, but it's not working anymore even with alsa-oss
installed.
oss aldo
terminate called after throwing an instance of
'libaudiostream::AudioException'
what(): std::exception
Aborted (core dumped)
The only other one I can think of is "The MILL" by Jim Farrior, W4FOK (SK)
who used GW Basic to produce the program, then he finally compiled it. I
was to have been given the source code but Jim passed away first.
I have archived "The MILL" and other interesting programs, like CWcom,
MorseMail, and a few others, here:

MILL is here: https://archive.org/details/w4fok_mill_morse_program
It's a fun little program - it will show you what could be done with 640k
of memory!
