[CW] K6KPH and Operating

Remember, K6KPH when in operation monitors its published frequencies.  Just
like a commercial station, they rarely call CQ.

Just call them!

*Firstly, for the first time, yesterday  I worked K6KPH on 14050.0 around
1630 local.  I knew about them but had never heard them calling CQ before.
I have a very low 20m dipole in the back yard oriented E-W but it seems to
do the job with my huge 90 watts hi! I have monitored KPH (and KFS) before
though on those Night of Nights xmissions each year, on my trusty old
BC-348.  I always let them know that I have heard them and they in turn
send me a nice radiogram confirming the fact that I copied them.  There is
a very good write-up on **QRZ.COM <http://qrz.com/> of those facilities on
the west coast. *
