Thanks David,

..for posting that. I remember copying traffic from those ship and shore 
stations. It seems like that thing for 'Star Wars' about long, long ago 
and far, far away. The station I remember most is WCC. Stan Reed, W8CC 
(SK) was my primary cheer leader and "elmer" when I went up for my 
commercial ticket so it was easy to remember WCC. Stan was a radio op 
and ship's purser in the very early 20th century. He was also a charter 
member of ARRL.

I will be parked in front of my radio for at least part of that time:)
