Nice, and really well said.  My time on ships that actually floated on the surface full time were memorable. There’s nothing like the tempo of being at sea, and life on a Navy vessel anytime.

He forgot one thing, though.  In my branch of the Navy, all of those well-known surface ships he mentioned (otherwise known as “skimmers") were just ‘targets" … :-)
