[CW] Speed-X 114-520 feet

I recently acquired a very nice E F Johnson114-520 Speed-X bug, which could benefit greatly from new feet.

I went to unscrew the old ones and replace them this morning in what I thought would be an easy 5 minute job, only to realize that they appear to be staked on instead of being easily removable.  In any case, what I expected would be screw heads holding them on, don’t look like screw heads.

Am I missing something simple?  Or is there no easy way to replace them other than to try and pop out the stakes.  I don’t want to damage anything.
