Layne, I and several hundreds of others, if not thousands, currently use the DXLab program, Win Warbler to send cw. We can use it for keyboarding, and it has a cw memory keyer also. It is free, and after a bit of setting up, has worked fine for me for 10 years or so. Its part of a larger group of programs that all work in conjunction with each other doing everything from Cat Control of the rig, through cw/psk/rtty,voice keying. It also can be set up for logging, as well as finding qsl information, sending QSLs, running the ARRL LOTW confirmation system, etc. You dont need to use all these, and most any of them can be set up independently. Just take a look at the web page for DXLab and read a bit on it, download WinWarbler, and get started. Any questions, there are many of us here on the cw refelector, and some other web groups that can help.
