A microcontroller.

Looks like hardware, but is programmed in assembly.
Look at my website pa0wv.home.xs4all.nl/zelfbouw.html for a large number 
of CW designs. Bug butcher is the most recent.

Output sine wave, slope cosine squared. Leading and trailing edge each 
others mirror, so optimal band limited signal.
