I just received the following e-mail from LNR Precision, the folks that manufacture the Patriot and SKCC keys.  My wife got me one for Christmas and it is pretty sweet.  If you want one… now is your last chance.  Here is their e-mail:

You are receiving this email because you indicated that you would like to be notified when the SKCC Straight Key Century Club keys are available for purchase. We apologize that the online tool was not automatically notifying those on the list properly, so we are doing it manually. There has been some confusion that this is a "waiting list", it is not. Our method is just signing up to be notified when products are available for purchase as everything is first come, first serve. 

As you may have noticed on our website and several online forums, we will stop manufacturing these keys after this last production run. While it is possible that sometime in the future we may resume, we are choosing to focus on our transceiver and antenna core business. As such, we have 35 remaining keys left in inventory. Each one is hand machined and the quality as you know is superb. If you or any of your club members are interested, we would encourage you to act quickly as they will be gone soon.


Please note that the Patriot key (similar to the SKCC key) has also been retired so this is likely your last chance to get one of these quality keys from us for the foreseeable future. Also, the online pictures of the SKCC key show a date of 2015 on the base. All keys made since 2015 do NOT have a date engraved.  Also, if you have already purchased a SKCC key and are receiving this email, please ignore. We have no easy way to verify the notification list against our customer database.
