[CW] OT: Heartbreaking VOA Sterba Curtain Destruction

That is just terrible. I cant believe there were that many towers to start with, but to destroy all of them that way. sigh. The site here in N. Va, where I worked for 8 years after coming back from overseas, had a couple of dozen towers, and they were taken down, one by one. A ham operator bought some of them, and transported them several miles away, refurbished them, and stuck them back up, and its now a major cw club site. Im envious every time I go by.
