Benny,
The message about bug night came through without any previous message about
bugs.
Why not start one! Wednesday is BENNY'S BUG NIGHT. How about that?
What frequency and time, Benny?
I have this message from 2012 if it will help:
Some of us are on every night on the west coast. I started something.
Monday night is straight key night. Wednesday is bug night. Friday is
keyer night. Every other night is keyboard night. Last night (bug night)
we had four bug guys break in with their bugs out of the woodwork. What a
trip. They were never there when we were running QRQ on KB nights. One
of them was on with an ARC 5. Boy the keying sounded great on that old
thing. They’ll show up probably on straight key night and again on bug
night. I hope they bring their friends. We get on around 6:15 pm Pacific
time close to 7033 kc. I came up with something else. Since we have a lot
of keyboard nights, I suggested we reserve Sunday night for AM. Chris,
AI6U suggested we get on around 3660 kc. Bill, N7YT is going to put a rig
on AM. We will work this out over the next couple of days, but I think it
would be more appropriate to QSY closer to 3633 kc. I know y’all can
eventually hear us. You sure can on CW. Please join in with whatever mode
we’re running on any given night.
