Hi, Brian.

I have/had many keys over the years, mainlypaddles and bugs. Paddles I love
are TW Mag Pad, Jones Key and a Kent double paddle. If my arthritis was not
getting worse and thought I could go faster, I would look into a high
end single
lever paddle. With my paddles set, I can operate for hours without pain
or fatigue.

As for bugs, my favourites are a couple of Vibroplex Juniors and one is
a 1920!
Blue Racers are up there, also. In the running for favourite now is my
TW Olympic,
a double lever. It took a little work in readjusting, but having
operated with iambic
paddles, I had no problem with the double lever. I very much enjoy
using my Vizkey
90° bug, as well. Most any bug I can work on, I can get them to operate
such as to
not wear me out or pain me after a long operating period.

I miss going to Dayton, or other venues where other key makers display
their wares
to try, like Begali. Being a machinist, I appreciate Peiro's fine
work. Just by reputation,
I imagine Peiro's keys work as well as they look. I have enjoyed
driving some pretty
wonderful automobiles and then sit back in my Chevy, Oldsmobile or
Ford. The
differences are very noticable. Do I want/need to afford the upgraded
performance
in the cars? Apparently not as I have not bought any. As for keys, yes
I have wanted
and afforded them. In time, I may well enjoy one of Peiro's, but I have
some other
higher priorities currently. So, for now, I enjoy my current stable of
keys and working
towards making a couple myself.

Back to bed now. I have a truck engine to work on replacing tomorrow,
repair a piece
of furniture to repair, repair a couple of power tools and several keys
to work on at
various stages. And, damn it, fix my IC-765 as well. I will look
forward to having
Monday to rest.
